Err, seeing many answers, but surprised that biggest online course platforms are not mentioned here.
I guess just plugs from proactive owners.

It was very hard to sell video online in past.. you needed:
- WordPress + website hosting (which you should have already)
- your own video hosting solution (Vimeo or Wistia)
- a visual page builder theme/plugin
- member access plugin
- LMS plugin for better student learning experience (badges, quizzes, student management)
This is if you go for WordPress, self hosted path.. way too complicated if you ask me.
