Government Has Banned Most Popular WeTransfer File Sharing Site

The Department of Telecommunications, Government of India, has banned the popular file-sharing website WeTransfer.com. The government says that the website has been banned keeping in mind the interests of the country and the public security.
According to a Mumbai Mirror report, the Department of Telecommunications (DoT) has issued a notice to Internet service providers to ban three URLs in the country. In the first two notices, two selected  URLs on the website were asked to be banned, while in the third notice, the entire WeTransfer website was ordered to be banned.
